Saturday Morning Pancakes

Rise and shine- it’s a beautiful morning here. The sun is finally out and trying to shine πŸ™‚ so what better to do than make some blueberry pancakes with my little Jace?

This is in no means a pancake making tutorial as I’m definitely not the best pancake maker. My 1.5 year gives me a run when it comes to making pancakes lol.

Anyways, first things first, I found an easy recipe on Pinterest.

Next, I gathered all the ingredients and pre measured everything out and put each ingredient in a bowl that Jace could easily pour from.

Once that was all ready – up on the counter Jace sat. Don’t worry, I stayed next to him the entire time. πŸ™‚

Step 1 – flour

Step 2 – baking soda… which hopefully isn’t too important as you can see – he missed the bowl πŸ˜‚

Step 3 – mix the dry ingredients together. (Had to be careful on this step as he thought it was time to eat )

Step 4 – 7 – add in wet ingredients. Egg, vanilla, and milk.

Step 8 – BLUEBERRIES! He loved this step and ate every other blueberry

Step 9 – mix it up!

Step 10 – time to cook and hope they turn out alright!

Step 11 – and the best one – eat!

He even went for seconds!
We had a blast mixing and cooking together! It is a little more work to get everything measured out in containers for your little one but the joy on their face makes it all worth it. Also, be ready to ignore the mess and just have fun πŸ™‚
